Thirty
years of passion for the sound of the bassoon and the
contrabassoon and my experience as player in opera-,
chamber- and symphonic orchestra result in a (contra-)
bassoonreed with a rich and warm sound, easy start and
good intonation. A reed that creates energy with both
player and listener.
One
type, one model.
Proportions
in thickness are crucial for the shape of the reed.
These proportions remain constant and result in one
model. The average thickness is adjusted to the solidity
of the wood until the ideal resonance has been achieved.
Shortly
after its appearance in the music world, the Hara-reed
received recognition: several soloists of prominent
orchestras such as the “Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam”
and “l’Orchestre de paris” use it.
Wishing
you lots of playing enjoyment,
kind regards,
Danny D’haene
